Job Description:

Perform various general laboratory tasks in support of the principal investigators, postdoctoral fellows, graduate students and senior technical personnel, including comprehensive maintenance of laboratory facilities and training of students, postdoctoral fellows and lab technicians.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Neurobiology, Biology, Biochemistry or related field, required.
2 years of post-graduate science-related experience in a neuroscience, biology, biochemistry or related scientific lab, required.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, required.
Ability to work cooperatively with a multidisciplinary research team, required.
Ability to perform duties with initiative and independence, under general guidance from the PI, required.
Ability to perform complex calculations, database searches and data organization, required.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with western blot and genotyping protocols, preferred.
Experience installing, maintaining and troubleshooting equipment, preferred.
Small animal handling experience, preferred.
