PhD position working on evaluation of the efficacy of new compounds
in the treatment of pancreatic cancer in vivo.
Ph.D. in cancer biology or related field, required
Practical familiarity with standard tissue culture, mouse models of
pancreatic cancer studies, molecular techniques and instrumentation
utilized in a cancer biology research laboratory, required.
Ability to write manuscripts for publication, required.
Proven track record of publications in peer-reviewed journals,
Ability to lead one main project and also contribute to various
ongoing research projects concurrently, required.
Experience mentoring junior scientists such as undergraduate and
graduate students, required.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English,
Ability to work cooperatively with a multidisciplinary research
Ability to perform experiments with initiative and independence,
under general guidance from the PI, required.
Experience working in the field of in vivo efficacious studies is
Hands on experience with gene-manipulation techniques such as
Lentiviral transduction, CRISPR-Cas9 knockout preferred
