This position is responsible for the budgeting, invoicing, and
reconciliation of all Clinical Trials. The position is also
responsible for the management of the Clinical Trials Management
System (CTMS) and UToledo electronic research management system for
all industry funded, federally funded, and investigator-initiated
clinical trials. This position works with the study teams on the
management and compliance of the clinical trial grant

Bachelor’s degree and equivalent of one (1) year of experience in
accounting or related field plus experience in clinical research
administration or two (2) years of combined education and related
• One (1) year of relevant experience (i.e., in healthcare,
clinical research administration, grants administration, finance or
accounting) may be substituted for every one (1) year of experience
• Experience with medical coding and knowledge of medical
terminology strongly preferred.
• Proficient in EPIC, Microsoft Office suite, and ability to learn
and use software systems such as InfoEd, IRB Manager and any other
software required by the position.
• Exhibits ability to read and interpret federal regulations,
guidelines, protocols, and clinical trial agreements.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and
draw valid conclusions.
• Ability to work independently and in group settings. Ability to
keep information confidential.
