Lecturer, Computer Science



The Computer Science department at Skidmore College invites applications for a part-time instructor to teach CS106 Introduction to Computer Science in the Spring 2024 semester. The instructor will have 5 or 7 hours of course meetings per week: an 80 minute lecture that meets twice per week, and one or two 110 minute lab meetings.

Required Qualifications:
  • Masters or Ph.D. degree in Computer Science, or significant professional experience in the field of Computer Science.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Teaching experience.
  • Experience working with people of diverse backgrounds and experiences.
Pay: $2,271.50 per contact hour (position has 5 to 7 contact hours)
