About Global Studies and Modern Languages
The Department of Global Studies and Modern Languages at Drexel
University is an interdisciplinary unit that brings together
experts on world affairs, international relations, global culture,
language, international economics, and more.
In our multidisciplinary Modern Languages degree program, students
develop language skills along with knowledge of global cultures
through an emphasis on communication in real-life contexts.
Students from any and all disciplines are encouraged to enroll in
language courses to develop their global competency and gain

The Teaching Assistant's primary responsibility would be to teach
Korean language courses at the beginning through intermediate
levels. They would teach 1 or 2 courses per quarter, depending on
the demand. Additionally, the TA would assist the language lead
with planning co-curricular events for the Korean language
students. This could include conversation hours, participating in a
language club or language table, and organizing other relevant
