The Data Analysis shall have the primary responsibilities in building and maintaining the data warehouse and Student Information System (SIS) for the Office of Institutional Effectiveness and Institutional Research. Provide emergency 24/7 on-call support on a rotating basis.
Essential Functions:
- Assist in the design, development, and implementation of the data warehouse.
- Work closely with senior analysts to integrate data from various sources.
- Support the maintenance and updates of the SIS.
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity within the SIS.
- Generate reports and dashboards to support institutional research.
- Assist in data analysis projects to inform decision-making processes.
- Perform data validation and cleaning to ensure high data quality.
- Troubleshoot and resolve data inconsistencies and anomalies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet data requirements.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide updates.
- Document all processes, methodologies, and data dictionaries.
- Maintain up-to-date records of database architecture and schemas.

Moderate physical activity. Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g. Statistics, Data Science, Mathematics) required: master’s or Ph.D. preferred.
- Proficiency in statistical analysis software (e.g. R, Python, SPSS) and data visualization tools (e.g.... Tableau). Strong quantitative and analytical skills with the ability to work large.
- Knowledge of research methodologies and statistical techniques.
- Excellent communication skills to convey complex findings to non-technical stakeholders.
- Attention to detail and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with academic research environments and ethics.
- Ability to perform complex tasks and prioritize multiple projects.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite, LinkedIn Learning, as well as knowledge and understanding of the organizational structure, workflow, and operating procedures. Familiar with Jenzabar technology suite for higher education.
- Flexibility to work outside of normal business hours, ability to maintain a flexible work schedule that may include working nights and weekends.
