Salary:
Minimum $20.31 HOURLY

The salary is $20.31 per hour with a competitive retirement and benefits package, including insurance, vacation, holidays, and paid time off.
We offer a competitive night differential of $2.50 per hour when you work between 6:00PM and 6:00AM.
Job Summary:
Under the general supervision of the Custodial Services Supervisor (CSS) perform the duties as a lead worker by facilitating work performed by Custodians and LTE's. Assist the CSS in developing custodial objectives and the tasks required to achieve them. Implement work plans under the direction of the CSS. Check work, assist with training and instruction on the proper cleaning methods and safe operation of all equipment. Remove faulty equipment from service, and make arrangements for repair, order supplies, and perform assigned custodial tasks.
Responsibilities: Cleans institutional facilities, removes waste and recycling, and monitors building security to ensure cleanliness, orderliness, and safety in assigned areas. Leads the custodial work of others and responds to custodial emergencies.

- 50% Utilizes basic equipment and supplies to clean assigned facility areas and remove waste and recyclables
- 5% Monitors and secures facility interior and exterior entrances and reports issues to appropriate entities
- 5% Maintains organization of supply areas and equipment, documents inventory, and requests additional supplies as needed
- 5% Documents and reports repairs, violations, and pest control needs
- 10% Maintains clean and clear walkways to ensure they are free of debris, litter, snow, and ice
- 5% Schedules, monitors, and communicates with staff and assists with basic training
- 5% Responds to facility emergency and hazardous situations, and escalates incidents according to established policies and procedures
- 5% Inspects, maintains, operates equipment to ensure optimal and safe operatio
- 5% Extracts carpet and furniture according to institutional standards
- 5% Cleans floors by vacuuming, buffing, stripping, and waxing assigned area
