Responsibilities:
This position will include project oversight and management of all aspects of the Collaborative Rural STEM Education project. Duties include, but are not limited to the following:
Identify and recruit teacher participants; design professional development for teachers; develop curriculum with project faculty; interface with school districts for participation and year-long follow-up through school visits; coordinate and supervise staff, faculty, and evaluators; interface with the Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences and the Dean of the College of Education and Human Sciences; purchase materials for participants; develop and coordinate annual calendar of project activities; coordinate evaluation and provide reporting for all aspects of project activity. This position will also serve as fiscal contact and liaison to Delta State University's Institutional Grants and Contracts Office. The Project Director will also be responsible for meeting all objectives outlined in the proposal.



Qualifications:
Bachelors required, Master’s preferred



Salary:
12 monthCommensurate with experience, qualifications, and university’s resources.
