The Martin J. Whitman School of Management is seeking a part time
instructor to teach EEE 370 – Introduction to Entrepreneurship
& Emerging Enterprises during the spring 2024 semester.
Course focuses on what it takes to start, grow and sustain new
ventures. Topics include: understanding new ventures and their
teams, evaluating opportunities, conducting feasibility analysis,
securing resources, marketing, growth, readings, guest lectures,
and experiential learning emphasized.
Job Specific Qualifications
- Must have good communication skills
- Substantial experience in the role of starting, running and
growing new ventures
- Detailed experience in conducting market and industry research,
market development, and feasibility assessments.
- Having taught entrepreneurship at university-level is
- Updating course syllabus in line with overall course goals and
program objectives, in collaboration with EEE Department
- Preparation of lectures, projects and other student
- Maintaining regularly scheduled office hours.
- Presenting instruction based on the competencies and performance
level of the course.
- Meeting all designated class periods.
- Submitting completed mid-semester progress reports and final
grades according to University regulations as well as Whitman
School’s grading policy.
- Providing departmentally sanctioned form for completing student
- Grading student assignments and exams in timely manner.
- Building a positive rapport with students and other faculty
- Other responsibilities as indicated.
