Job Summary/Basic Functions

The Director of Athletics Communications reports directly to the Director of Athletics and Senior Associate Athletics Director for External Engagement, and manages all facets of positively publicizing and promoting EKU's intercollegiate sports programs.

Minimum Qualifications

Education: - Bachelor's degree is required.

Experience: - 3 years of work related experience required

Job Duties:

• 75% - Oversees athletics communications/public relations services for intercollegiate athletics at Eastern Kentucky University - ()
• 20% - Works with game administrators to ensure all necessary equipment is available and operational, as well as supervising staff and game personnel for home sporting events - ()
• 5% - Supports the office functions by completing all other duties assigned. - ()
