Job Description

The position provides support for various business and finance office activities, including planning, coordinating or directing general support service functions for portfolio 3 (internal shared services) departments within the College of Arts and Science. Primary duties include but are not limited to:

• Assisting the business and finance officer (BFO) and the faculty in department of Psychological Sciences.
• Assisting with reconciliation of purchasing card transactions and requesting for reimbursements through the AP shared services center.
• Assisting faculty with submission of purchase requisitions, vouchers, contracts through the AP Cherwell portal.
• Assisting the BFO with the preparation of fiscal reports, review and reconciliation of departmental accounts, financial data analysis, maintenance of general operating, instruction, internal grants, gift, and other agency funds.
• Completing monthly income statement checklists for various faculty and department accounts.
• Assisting the BFO, faculty and staff with ordering supplies, equipment, etc.
• Assisting with compiling effort distribution and annual additions for faculty evaluations.
• Assisting with completing annual space survey.
• Completing Annual equipment inventory.
• Assisting with payroll reconciliations, daily functions, and special projects.
• Assisting with cash counts and check deposits.
• Supporting all departments/staff within the assigned Portfolio as needed.

Salary

Salary Range: $16.23 - $22.24 per hour, commensurate with experience

Grade: GGS-007

University Title: Business Support Specialist II

Monday through Friday 8hrs/day

Minimum Qualifications

An Associate’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 2 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary
