Job Summary
Reporting to the Supervisor, Advancement Operations, this position is responsible the accurate daily processing of donations and constituent data; conducting the administrative processes necessary to support gift acknowledgement, donor recognition, and reporting; data entry necessary for record upkeep and management; and prospect research. In addition, the person in this role will respond to phone and email inquiries from our highly diverse constituents which includes responding to donors about their giving history, assistance with online giving and more. Superior attention to detail and confidentiality are key. This position will also be responsible for critical administrative tasks including the intake of contributions. The person in this role is expected to work as part of a collaborative and inclusive team including taking appropriate actions to support a diverse workforce and participating in the College's efforts to create a respectful, inclusive, and welcoming work environment. In addition, all advancement staff members are encouraged to support and staff key events such as Commencement, Taste the Future, among others which may require occasional evening and weekend hours.

Gift Processing
- Processes donations made to the Foundation, including but not
limited to gift
data entry, batching, reporting, reconciliation, preparing and sending gift
acknowledgements and tax receipts, and noting recognition preferences. - Follows department policies and procedures, and ensures
timeliness,
accuracy, and consistency.
- In partnership within and across various teams at the College,
this role
supports relationship development, ensuring timely and accurate updates and
taking on projects to ensure data segments are healthy when requested for
various fundraising, communications, or engagement activities.
- With guidance from the Supervisor, Advancement Operations, the
Data
Specialist will interact with key partners across the College to facilitate data
projects and upkeep that centralizes relationship management and
streamlines processes in support of events and communications. - Additionally, the incumbent interacts with business office
partners to
coordinate fund or investment information.
- Contributes to creating a welcoming, inclusive, and productive

potential, regardless of their differences. - Fosters and maintains a safe environment of respect and inclusion for faculty, staff, students, and members of the community.
- Assists with conducting workforce analytics related to organizational development to identify potential inhibitors of a workplace environment that is diverse, equitable and inclusive .
- Associate's Degree
- Two (2) years of experience in Razor's Edge or comparable CRM, donor relations, and/or fundraising.
- State Motor Vehicle Operator's License or demonstrable ability to gain access to work site(s).
