Nursery School

Job Summary/Basic Function:

Responsible for teaching children 2.9 to 5.0 in the event of teachers’ absence. Follow health and safety guidelines, take attendance, facilitate the teacher’s lessons, manage the children, and report to the director any concerns—preferred qualification requirements: Minimum age of 21, B.A. or B.S. and ability to work with children, families, college students from diverse backgrounds.

Adult and Child CPR /First Aid certified preferred.

Physical Demands

Ability to lift children 30 pounds, cannot be sedentary, and sit on the floor and respond to children at their physical level.
