The Department of Marketing in the W. P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University invites applications for a Clinical Assistant or Clinical Associate Professor, Full-Time, career track position beginning August 2024.
Contribute to the school’s mission in the areas of teaching and service. Participate in teaching undergraduate and graduate level courses and curriculum development related to general marketing with an emphasis on professional sales and digital marketing. Engage in service activities focused primarily on assisting with student engagement opportunities related to professional sales, student organizations, Honors theses, and participating on department, W. P. Carey School of Business, and/or University committees.

Clinical Assistant Professor – 1) A Ph.D. in Marketing, Business Administration or related field; 2) Demonstrated potential for teaching excellence at the undergraduate and/or graduate level as evidenced by strong communication skills or strong teaching evaluations; 3) A record of scholarship as evidenced by an active learning agenda, and/or papers or articles related to the marketing discipline.
Clinical Associate Professor – 1) Ph. D. in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field; 2) The equivalent of 5 years of full-time teaching at a 4-year institution; 3) Demonstrated teaching excellence at the undergraduate and/or graduate level as evidenced by indicators such as strong teaching evaluations, course innovation, and strong communication skills; 4) A record of scholarship as evidenced by professional and/or academic experience within the marketing profession, an active learning agenda, and/or papers or articles.
1) Expertise in professional sales;
2) Excellence in teaching courses in marketing, especially those associated with professional sales and digital marketing;
3) Teaching experience in a variety of platforms, including in-person, online, graduate and undergraduate levels; and
4) Evidence of ability to innovate, work collaboratively to achieve goals, and engage in inclusive practices.
