The basics of this position:
Performs duties necessary to provide administrative assistance to department and maintains complex recordkeeping and filing system; compiles statistical data; prepares forms, logs schedules, and memorandum; schedules meetings.
What you'll do:
- Maintains complex recordkeeping and filing systems for storage
and retrieval of correspondence, contracts and departmental
personnel records; maintains vacation and sick leave reports.
Compiles and organizes statistical data and information for preparation of schedules, reports or budgets.
Prepares forms, logs, schedules and memorandum to ensure detailed, accurate reports and records.
Schedules meetings and appointments to ensure the effective daily operation of the office.
May serve as a timekeeper for department.
May provide direction to several employees assigned to the office.
Supports department and College events with planning and logistics, including on-site event participation.
Associate's Degree or equivalent and over three (3) years of progressively responsible
secretarial work experience.
