In alignment with the master contract and
determined based on relevant years of work experience.
Adjunct instructor to teach applied brass,
jazz improvisation and jazz history courses. There is also an
opportunity to teach other courses as needed, such as Intro to
Music Listening. Position is open to all brass but preference will
be given to trumpet/high brass players.
Strong oral and written
Proficient in brass pedagogy and jazz improvisation.
Masters in Music.
Evidence of successful studio instruction and strong classroom
Proficiency in online Learning
Management System such as Canvas. Proficiency in tenor or
Past teaching experience in a community college system.
