Build strong relationships with board members, alumni,
corporate supporters, and other donors and lead the School of
Business fundraising efforts in collaboration with the President
and VP of Advancement,
Maintain productive relationships with national and
international business communities.
Ensure the expansion and development of market-driven global
programs across the school.
Collaborate with the associate dean and school faculty, in
accordance with the mission, vision, and values of the school, on
setting strategic planning priorities for the school.
Provide direction on the brand of the school, and support
efforts to appropriately do so.
Lead all external partnerships, including the school's advisory
Education and/or Experience:
Master's Degree, preferably from an AACSB-accredited
20+ years of successful experience in business, with evidence
of increased levels of responsibilities of leadership
Experience interacting and engaging with a higher education
An understanding of the business of private higher
A strong record of partnerships with external stakeholders
Experience with change management
The ability to foster a culture oriented to achievement,
professional development, faculty research, and successful
Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite
Human Relations Skills:
A record of progressive and proven leadership experience
A strong record of success in attaining external funding
through gifts, grants, and partnerships
Evidence of a collaborative leadership and management style
that advances goals and programs, evokes trust, and effectively
engages the talents, strengths, and experiences of faculty, staff,
and alumni, & donors
Outstanding communication skills
Highly developed relationship-building skills and evidence of
strong ties to regional businesses and other stakeholders
Ability to work effectively with people regardless of their
