Laboratory Technician wanted for high-throughput screening laboratory at Georgia State University. Laboratory is part of a national Antiviral Drug Development (AViDD) center. Technician will assist with high throughput screening campaigns, managing inventories, monitoring and maintaining robotic equipment, and collecting/organizing large datasets. Candidates should at minimum possess an associate or bachelor’s degree in a science-related field; Master’s degree is favored. Experience in high-throughput screening, liquid handling robotics, tissue culture, data analysis and/or molecular virology would be an asset. The successful candidate is highly motivated, organized, detail oriented and capable of working independently and collaboratively. For candidates looking to advance their careers in Virology/Life Sciences, the position will provide valuable experience preparation for potential graduate studies in Virology and antiviral drug discovery.

Qualifications :

Bachelor's degree in Biology, Chemistry or other natural science area and one year of laboratory experience; or a combination of education and related experience.
