Open Rank Research Faculty - Business Ethics and Society Program (BESP)

The Mendoza College of Business seeks a non-tenure track research faculty at any rank for its interdisciplinary Business Ethics and Society Program (BESP). BESP takes a humanistic perspective on business and business ethics with a special interest in Catholic Social Thought. The program offers a minor, "Business and the Common Good," which draws on fields such as: theology, philosophy, economics, law, and business ethics. The position includes a 2-2 teaching load, some program-related administrative duties, with expectations for high quality research relevant to the mission of BESP.
We have a strong preference for candidates who:

* have a Ph.D. or equivalent in a field connected with ethics and/or business ethics.

* have demonstrated commitment to research excellence consistent with the mission of BESP.

* are conversant in the social sciences and Catholic social thought.

* have experience teaching interdisciplinary courses, including at the intersection of moral philosophy, business ethics and Catholic Social Thought.

* have demonstrated experience in working with students beyond the classroom.
