Job Description:

In coordination with the Clinic Medical Director(s), plans and manages the daily operations of a single clinic with a total of 20,000 annual patient visits or more or multiple clinics with 20,000 visits or more. Responsibilities include leading and organizing the continuous improvement of patient care services; developing, supervising and ensuring the competence of clinic staff; ensuring compliance with accreditation standards; managing the clinic budget and efficiently using resources; and providing direct patient care and coordinating the care of patients with other clinics and ancillary services. Responsible for hiring and training support staff, including management staff.

Minimum Qualifications:

1. BA/BS degree required; MBA/MHA preferred
2. Previous supervisory experience required. 5-10 years (degree in lieu of experience may be appropriate)
3. Previous budgetary experience required.
4. Required to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays.
5. Tactful, respectful and courteous in dealing with patients, visitors, students, residents, physicians, and staff.
6. Able to maintain effective working relationships with personnel and medical staff.
7. Successfully completed orientation program within 90 days.
8. Demonstrates ability to work with self-direction with minimal supervision.
9. Demonstrates excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work closely with multiple teams.
10. Previous experience with accreditation including the Joint Commission
