Alfred J. Verrecchia Endowed Assistant Professor of Business Analytics and Artificial Intelligence

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The College of Business at the University of Rhode Island is seeking applications for the Alfred J. Verrecchia Professorship in Business Analytics and Artificial Intelligence (BAI), starting fall 2024. Hiring will occur at the rank of assistant professor. The Verrecchia Endowed Professor will participate in a collaborative research environment, teach undergraduate and graduate courses in BAI, mentor graduate students, and collaborate with alumni and corporate partners to help increase employment opportunities for College of Business graduates.

Applicants must have expertise in the field of business analytics and artificial intelligence at the organizational, platform, market, or industry levels that can strengthen the reputation of the University of Rhode Island and the URI College of Business. Successful applicants will have journal publications and/or a strong research pipeline and great potential to publish in top and high quality journal outlets.
