Brief Summary of Job Duties

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Conduct research and supervise students who work on the research projects
• Write reports, journal papers, and conference papers
• Write proposals under the Director, Associate Director, and Research Engineer’s supervision
• Help in managing the research lab, data, data storage, etc.
• Coordinate Cybersecurity related activities
• Help with webinars, workshops, conferences, etc., and tech transfer activities

Requested Minimum Qualifications

Education:
The successful candidate must have PhD from an accredited College or University in a Transportation related field (Transportation Engineering, electrical Engineering, computer Science, Civil engineering, etc.)
Skills and Experience:

• Experience in/Familiar with at least two of these areas: CAV, Data Science, Cybersecurity, multimodal transportation, equity, mirco mobility, smart cities, policy and planning, safety, simulation
• Experience in grant writing, publishing papers, and conducting research
• Experience in supervising students in research projects
