Job Summary/Basic Function:
The Marshall Center is one of the academic centers on campus and
our staff provide support and services designed to positively
impact the success and retention of students of color. We also work
to engage the broader campus in learning around D,E and I.
The Program Coordinator collaborates with students, faculty and
staff to provide a holistic approach to academic and cultural
programming, which includes an emphasis on curricular connections.
They are responsible for the oversight and of our Intercultural
Early Arrival Program, the Intergroup Dialogue program and heritage
month programs as well as. The Program Coordinator will utilize an
intersectional analytical framework for the development of
programs, training and workshops intended to build cultural
Bachelor’s degree and 1-3 years of relevant experience required, or
equivalent combination of education and experience in the areas of
advising and/or working with a diverse group of students in offices
such as intercultural affairs, social justice, academic advising or
Master’s degree preferred.
