Job Summary
The Department of Social Sciences and Business of UWM's College of General Studies invites applications for one or more non-tenure track instructors in Economics at UWM at Waukesha for Spring 2024.

Anticipated staffing is needed for one or more of the following courses:
  • CGS ECO 101 Intro to Economics
  • CGS ECO 110 Economics of Personal Finance
  • CGS ECO 203 Economics-Macro
  • CGS ECO 204 Economics-Micro
  • CGS ECO 243 Economics and Business Statistics

    Contract starts January 5, 2024. Spring classes begin January 22, 2024. New staff orientation is scheduled within the contract period.

    Minimum Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Economics or a related discipline
  • Successful teaching experience at the university level

    Preferred Qualifications
  • Terminal degree in Economics or a related discipline
  • Successful teaching experience with diverse student populations.
  • Evidence of use of successful student-centered teaching strategies.

    Target Salary Range
    $44,000 - $46,000 (final offer will be contingent upon the knowledge, skills, and abilities presented by the finalist in relation to the position)
