Job Summary/Basic Functions

The College of Business at Eastern Kentucky University is seeking applications for a dynamic Executive-in-Residence/Lecturer, full-time nine-month, to begin August 2024. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching and coordinating courses in the Professional Development (PD) Series.

Teaching responsibilities include undergraduate College of Business PD courses. Coordination responsibilities include providing support and resources for instructors of PD courses; scheduling and staffing on-campus; coordination of the online sections of each of the courses in the series; iterative development of the PD curriculum and courses based on the College of Business strategic plan and learning competencies; and coordinating the college's co-operative education and internships. The PD Lecturer/Coordinator is also responsible for service to the College, the University, and their profession.

The successful candidate must hold a Master's degree or higher in business, and experience in both teaching and business is preferred. A candidate with practical experience, professionalism qualities, experience mentoring/training new professionals, and experience coordinating an academic program will serve our students well. Candidates are expected to demonstrate effective communication and interpersonal skills with undergraduate students, the university community, and practicing business professionals.

Minimum Qualifications
