The Aerospace Engineering Department at Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, invites applicants with an earned Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering, or closely-related field, to apply for a full-time, academic-year Tenure-Track faculty position at the Assistant or Associate Professor rank. The projected start date is September 16, 2024. Duties include teaching Aerospace Engineering courses; building a vibrant and innovative research program which integrates undergraduate students; and supporting and developing students into engineers ready to thrive in the modern aerospace industry. Candidates are sought with experience or interest in the areas of aerospace structures, spacecraft design, and spacecraft communications to support of the department’s unique and innovative curriculum. Candidates with research, industry, or experimental experience are especially encouraged to apply.
