Responsibilities:
Employee must have great communications skills and work well with others. Coordinate and Schedule Flight Instructors, Flight Students and Aircraft; maintain a daily flight schedule; schedule; answers the phones; and clerical duties. In addition, any task assigned by a Staff Flight Instructor, Assistant Chief Flight Instructor, Chief Flight Instructor, or the supervisor (Director of Flight Operations) Coordinate Open-Scheduling of all DSU training aircraft that are available or underutilized from 7:00 AM to 11:00 PM seven days a week.

The Flight Scheduler will coordinate between maintenance, flight operations, Instructors and students.

Develop student priority measures determining which students will be allowed flight training in open flight slots. The measurement of success of the flight scheduler is 90% of available flight slots are utilized Monday thru Friday from 7:00 AM to 11:00 PM.

Qualifications:

• FAA Private Pilot certified.
• Computer skilled required including Microsoft office.
• Delta State University Commercial Aviation Flight Operations or Management student.

• FAA Private Pilot certified.
• Computer skilled required including Microsoft office.
• Delta State University Commercial Aviation Flight Operations or Management student.

Salary:
HourlyCommensurate with experience, qualifications, and university’s resources.
