Salary Basis: 9 month

Responsibilities:
Teaching both undergraduate and graduate classes, preferred in the area of elementary education, literacy, and related fields; advising students; serving on various university, college, and division committees, and assuming other related assignments. Accreditation work and related curriculum visions will also be required. The successful candidate will be expected to serve on doctoral committees, grade comprehensive examinations, and perform other duties as assigned by the division chair and college dean.

Qualifications:
An earned doctorate in Elementary Education, or a doctorate in Curriculum and Instruction or Literacy. Additionally, the candidate must have a minimum of three years teaching experience in Elementary Education. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are also essential.Earned doctorate in Elementary Education, Curriculum and Instruction, and/or Reading. Also required are three years teaching experience with elementary school aged children and a thorough working knowledge of current research and practices in literacy. Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively are also essential.Earned doctorate in Elementary Education, Curriculum and Instruction, or Reading, thorough knowledge of current research and practices in literacy, and three years experience in teaching elementary school age children. A record of publications and presentations is also preferred.

Salary:
9 monthCommensurate with experience, qualifications, and university’s resources.
