Johns Hopkins, founded in 1876, is America's first research university and home to nine world-class academic divisions working together as one university.
Under the direction of the Sr. Research Coordinator, we are seeking a Research Program Coordinator will coordinate support for daily research operations, including but not limited to paper and e-filing of administrative and regulatory documents, and ensuring that all internal organizational systems are maintained. Work closely with the Sr. Research Coordinator, the Data Coordinating Center, and study Principal Investigators to achieve program goals.
Specific Duties & Responsibilities
- Draft memos and communications to all internal and external stakeholders.
- Under the supervision of the Sr. Research Coordinator, coordinate preparation and tracking of subsite contracts, invoices, and payments.
- Prepare and distribute accurate and timely communications with internal and external stakeholders. Strong verbal and written customer service skills a must.
- Responsible for maintaining multiple study inboxes and communicating and contacting study subsite.
- Responsible for supply procurement, which includes ordering, tracking, receiving, organizing and maintaining supplies.
- Responsible for coordination of the editing, formatting, printing, and shipment of all study related materials and correspondence. Must be detail oriented to assure the editing and formatting of study documents are accurate.
- Responsible for maintaining up to date and accurate Master Communication list-servs.
- Responsible for the coordination of all internal meetings, preparing agendas, and taking and distributing meeting minutes in a timely manner.
- Maintain regulatory documents according to internal SOPs.
- Filing administrative and regulatory documents via paper and e-fi ling.
- Provide miscellaneous administrative support as required.
- Must be able to lift 10 pounds overhead, and pickup and carry objects up to 15 pounds.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in related discipline.
- Additional related experience may substitute for required education, to the extent permitted by the JHU equivalency formula.

- Exceptionally strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work as part of a diverse team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
