Teaching Assistant Professor

The Economics Department of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill invites applications for a position as Teaching Assistant Professor to teach in our undergraduate program, with appointment beginning July 1, 2024. This is a 9-month, 6-courseload position over a 5-year term with the possibility of renewal. Duties will include undergraduate teaching, mentoring, and service. We are especially interested in someone with the experience and excitement to effectively manage a course load with large enrollment courses (200-400 students) and some smaller enrollment (~50 students) courses. Review of applications will begin November 1, 2023, and will continue until the position is filled. The Department of Economics is in the College of Arts and Sciences. It confers BA, BS, MA and PhD (STEM classified) degrees and minors in Entrepreneurship and Politics, Philosophy & Economics.
