Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University's Worldwide campus is currently hiring adjunct faculty to teach MATH 111 – Pre-calculus for Aviation at our Seattle, WA Campus.
Course Description:
This is a pre-calculus course designed for the student aviation. Topics include a review of the fundamentals of algebra; linear equations and inequalities, quadratic equations; variation; polynomial, rational, exponential, logarithmic and trigonometric functions; radian measures; right triangle solutions, vectors and the laws of sines and cosines.
Qualifications
Applicant Qualifications:
A minimum of a Master’s degree in discipline is required (please see list of acceptable disciplines below).
The applicant must explain the relationship and linkage of professional experience to course content in order to demonstrate competence, effectiveness, and capacity. The following indicate the types of relevant experience or activities.
