Job Description
Join the University of Missouri Enterprise Architecture team and contribute to MU's digital transformation strategy by delivering optimal business solutions. We are seeking a dedicated person to join our Enterprise Architecture team and develop a program to consultant on business and technology tools. We would like someone who is passionate about continuous learning, adept at solving business challenges with innovative or standard solutions, and skilled in driving change while engaging clients and colleagues. This position will be remote/hybrid work.
Responsibilities:
•Develop a consultancy program/service to assist users, departments, and colleges in utilizing existing and standard software resources effectively prior to purchasing new tools. Focus will include application rationalization and optimization. Collaborate with stakeholders to assess their business needs and provide strategic recommendations for solutions.
•Conduct Business process mapping to visually represent and analyze all steps and components involved in a specific business/information technology process. Identify opportunities for process improvement and technology optimization during/after this process.
•Collaborate with IT and non-IT teams, business analysts, solution architects, project managers, team leads, and project sponsors to ensure that potential changes to business, systems, data, and technology architecture are properly captured, reviewed, and governed.
•Deliver presentations and reports as needed to effectively communicate complex architectural concepts and software solutions to non-technical stakeholders.
•Stay up to date on emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in enterprise architecture, business process mapping and software optimization to drive continuous improvement and innovation.
Salary
Salary Range: $37,356 - $75,000 Commensurate with experience

Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm
Minimum Qualifications
Knowledge and experience normally acquired through, or equivalent to, the completion of a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 2 years of job-related experience in documenting business and technology processes, developing a program to consult with customers regarding standard software and understanding customer requirements for a software tool. Basic understanding of an architecture program in information technology.
Preferred Qualifications
Two years of experience in one or more of the following areas is preferred: technical communication, business analysis, architectural analysis.
Desired qualifications:
• Strong understanding of business process mapping and its relationship to architecture.
• Proficiency in working with software catalog/standards and utilizing their capabilities effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with stakeholders at various levels.
• Proven ability to drive change and influence decision-making processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
