Assistant/Associate Professor of Chemistry
The Department of Chemistry, Computer and Physical Sciences at Southeastern Oklahoma State University invites applications for a tenure track Assistant/Associate Professor of Chemistry. We are seeking broadly trained candidates with the Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry, who are willing to contribute to our existing undergraduate research programs. Teaching responsibilities will include organic chemistry (lecture and lab), freshman level chemistry, advanced chemistry courses, and physical science support courses. Tenure track faculty are expected to develop and maintain an active research program.
Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Application should include a brief research plan and teaching philosophy. The preferred start date is January 2, 2024 and may require multiple campus assignments as well as varied time and delivery methods. Applicants available to start on August 1, 2024, will also be considered. ABD’s with a reasonable expectation of completing requirements for the Ph.D. by January 2, 2024, will also be considered.
