Indiana is at the crossroads of global commerce, manufacturing, and technology. To serve our state and our students, Indiana University (IU) is seeking top-tier candidates for five tenure-line positions in the Hamilton Lugar School of Global and International Studies.

IU is home to eight federally-funded National Resource Centers and National Language Resource Centers, as well as three Department of Defense (DoD) Flagship language programs. The university offers instruction in more than 80 languages, and last year our students received 12 Boren Scholarships—more than any other university—for the study of critical world regions. Hamilton Lugar’s renowned area and international studies programs include innovative degrees in Cybersecurity and Global Policy and International Law and Institutions.

CYBER GOVERNANCE. Active research on the policy, legal, and institutional aspects of international cyber-governance.

CHINESE LINGUISTICS. Will recruit, train, and mentor graduate students for leadership in language pedagogy, and work alongside our DoD-funded Chinese Flagship.

GLOBAL PUBLIC HEALTH. An interdisciplinary researcher investigating social, economic, or political influences on global health governance.

GLOBAL ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT. A specialist in the role and functioning of international organizations working on poverty, sustainability, finance, or trade. Will work closely with the Tobias Center for Innovation in International Development.

KOREA SOCIAL SCIENCE. An innovative social scientist with research centered on the study of Korea. Funded by the Korea Foundation and IU alumni, this position will support our Institute for Korean Studies.
