Indiana University School of Medicine, Bloomington (IUSM) - Bloomington is seeking a qualified and motivated individual to join our anatomy education mission beginning as early as January 1, 2024, in a full time (.75), non-tenure track, Lecturer faculty appointment with the Department of Anatomy, Cell Biology & Physiology of the IU School of Medicine, and with job responsibilities located at the IUSM-Bloomington campus.
The successful candidate will participate in the teaching of human anatomy to undergraduate (baccalaureate) students, in the A215 (Basic Human Anatomy) course. Additional teaching opportunities for undergraduate students, graduate students and medical students may be available. In addition, and with appropriate time and mentorship, the candidate will be encouraged to develop and teach novel baccalaureate or graduate level anatomy courses. We seek candidates who have experience teaching diverse populations of undergraduate students by creating inclusive classrooms and by utilizing innovative pedagogy.
Qualifications: MS in anatomy, physiology, science education, or a relevant science-related field. Demonstrated excellence in teaching of human anatomy.
