Job Description:

The BFA in Graphic Design and BA in Fine Art programs seek qualified adjunct professors to teach an evening section of ART340 Web Design. A requirement for all Graphic Design and open to non-majors, this on-campus studio course requires the ability to teach HTML5, CSS3, and basic JavaScript, preparation of graphics for use on the web, site design and process, as well as the conceptual and creative aspects of web design. Classes consist of lecture, demonstrations, studio work, and critique.

Other duties include holding office hours and communicating with department faculty.


Requirements:

Candidates should have a BFA in Graphic Design or related area and a minimum of 2 years of professional experience in their discipline. An MFA and/or teaching experience is preferred. Candidates will demonstrate excellence and experience in their field.
