Responsibilities:
The D'Amore-McKim School of Business at Northeastern University invites applications for a Postdoctoral Research Associate who will work in the area of Behavioral Human-Centred AI with a specific focus on understanding the psychology of human-AI interactions in the work setting. This position will support and conduct research on the roles of trust, fairness and ethics of AI, and leadership in making AI deployment successful.
The successful candidate will carry out research under the direction of the Dunton Family Dean of the D'Amore McKim School of Business and/or other affiliated researchers with the Centre on AI Technology for Humankind founded by the dean. Specific duties will include idea development, collecting and analyzing research data, writing academic papers, administrative support, liaising and networking, and planning and organizing research and outreach efforts. This is a full-time, benefits-eligible position that may be held for one or two years depending on needs and qualifications. The salary is competitive with other postdoctoral programs, and postdoctoral research associates have access to University health care plans.
Qualifications:
Candidates must hold a PhD in Organizational Behavior and Management with a specific and clear focus on AI or computer science in general by the appointment start date. Candidates must have relevant research experience and demonstrate the ability or potential to publish in top-tier peer-reviewed academic journals. Candidates must also demonstrate a practical and managerial orientation, excellent time management and planning skills, and a willingness to explore and contribute to corporate exchanges.
