The Mendoza College of Business seeks a tenured faculty member who
will become a senior member of one of Mendoza's five departments
and assume the faculty director role for the Meyer Business on the
Frontlines Program (Frontlines; https://botfl.nd.edu/). Frontlines is
a signature program within the Mendoza College of Business at the
University of Notre Dame that is rooted in the belief that there is
dignity in work and that all people can be empowered to contribute
to society. Frontline's core mission is to serve MBA students and
partners on business- and peace-related projects in the field
through set of courses and initiatives. Through these projects,
Frontlines creates a unique student service learning experience and
makes a meaningful difference in the lives of some of the most
vulnerable people in the world. This is a senior faculty position
(either at the rank of associate with tenure or full professor),
with a tenure home in any of the College's departments: (a)
Accountancy, (b) Finance, (c) Information Technology, Analytics,
and Operations, (d) Marketing, or (e) Management &
Organization. Such a tenured appointment would need to be vetted by
the appropriate departmental and university committees. Therefore,
research prominence in the field and evidence of excellent teaching
are required.
