Baldwin Wallace University is seeking an instructor for a single 3 credit introductory course in Biostatistics. Applicants are expected to hold at least a master's degree in a related field and should have experience in biostatistics. The 3 credit freshmen level course covers interpretation of summary graphs and statistics for data sets, incorporating statistical tools and results in presentations, density curves include the normal distribution and t distribution, hypothesis testing, confidence intervals, tests of significance, t-tests, ANOVA, and correlation analysis using R. The course serves as an introduction to statistics in the setting of biostatics as well as an introduction to usage of the R statistical software.

Applicants are expected to maintain grades using the campus management system and utilize statistical software in the classroom. Applicants should have a working knowledge of the statistical software program R and a willingness to utilize the program with students in a classroom setting. Applicants willing to utilize real world applications in the field of biostatistics are preferred.

The position begins on January 8th, 2024. The course offering times are Tuesday and Thursdays, 3:05 pm to 4:20 pm and is taught on campus at Baldwin Wallace University.
