Description
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Director of Clinical Education:
- Review and maintain student profiles, program requirements, and clinical education information in the clinical education management software.
- Coordinate CPR certification, including sign-up and manikin coordination.
- Update and maintain clinical site information in the clinical education database.
- Facilitate student onboarding processes prior to clinical experience rotations, including site-specific needs and iPad check-in/check-out.
- Monitor student hours and ensure timely completion of surveys at the end of each clinical experience. Generate reports from the clinical education management software.
- Attend Faculty Retreats, New Student Orientation, Student Acceptance Day, Career Tree Event, White Coat Ceremony, and Recognition ceremonies.
- Provide assistance as needed for Campus/Accepted Student Day faculty coverage and CGS Events.
- Assist with accreditation activities, including preparation of self-study materials, site visits, and annual reports.
- Assist the Integrated Clinical Experience (ICE) Coordinator and
Faculty:
- Perform data entry into the EMR/Medicat system.
- Support faculty and students in user training for EMR/Medicat system.
- Distribute adjunct course evaluations and organize the results.
- Create, maintain, and update Qualtrics client surveys for all ICE clinics.
- Assist and support with organization and set up the ICE Course experiences, including required forms, supplies, EMR, files, schedules and other duties as they arise.
- Maintain financial records related to the ICE program.
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Education and/or Experience:
- High School Diploma/GED required.
- Bachelor's degree desirable.
- Prior experience in an academic and/or medical setting preferred.
Technology Skills:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 and Teams.
- Ability to quickly develop competency with new software technology.
