Job Overview

The Furniture & Refresh Project Manager, under the direction of the Director of Planning, Design & Construction (PDC), will be responsible for the coordination, administration and management of both furniture and small-scale construction projects from inception to completion. This multifaceted role involves coordinating design, procurement, construction, and installation of furniture items, as well as managing minor capital construction activities to ensure timely and successful project delivery. The project manager is responsible for budget management, resource allocation, risk assessment, and effective communication with various teams and stakeholders. By combining expertise in furniture design and construction management, this role aims to create functional and aesthetically pleasing spaces while ensuring seamless project execution.

Position Summary

Furniture and Refresh Project Manager (Administrator I)

This is a full time, exempt position in the Management Personnel Plan (MPP). MPP positions serve at the pleasure of the President.

In addition, 14 paid holidays are offered each year; 13 scheduled on specific days and a Personal Holiday that may be taken any time during the year.

Anticipated Hiring Salary Range: $6,500 - $6,834 per month

CSU Classification Salary Range: $3,750 - $11,146 per month

Salary is commensurate with the background and experience of the individual selected.
