Associate Prof w/ Tenure or Tenure-Track Assistant Prof, History of Ancient Art and/or Architecture

Position Description
The Department of Art, Art History and Design seeks to appoint an associate professor with tenure or a tenure-track assistant professor in the History of Ancient Art and/or Architecture with a preference for specialization in the Ancient Mediterranean or the Ancient Americas. The appointment is expected to begin on July 1, 2024. We especially encourage applications from scholars whose research embraces interdisciplinary, interregional, or intersectional approaches. The appointee will be responsible for teaching courses in their areas of expertise; mentoring undergraduate and graduate students; and contributing to the University's efforts to enhance and promote a culture of inclusiveness.
