Job Summary

Serve as a sales leader in the community for all programs and services offered by Continuing and Professional Education (CPE). Transition potential clients and adult learners to the appropriate office and program for their needs, including through the credit for prior learning process. Work with the Director and Program Managers to build and implement new programs as appropriate based on community needs, especially in community and lifelong learning programming.

Employment is contingent upon funding.

Responsibilities
  • Promote all programmatic and educational offerings by CPE to regional community members, campus partners, and regional businesses.
  • Establish relationships with regional non-profits and government entities for the purpose of selling all services of CPE.
  • Assist with the recruitment of adult learners to both CPE and the University at events, including but not limited to, orientations, open houses, community events, and evening programs.
  • Promote the University's prior learning assessment program to adult learners in the region.
  • Assist with implementation of the prior learning assessment (PLA) course by working one-on-one with students to identify potential PLA opportunities, navigating the student through the
  • PLA process, course payment, course completion, portfolio submission, and approval.
  • Collaborate, as directed, with university offices to facilitate the transition of adult learners to continuing education and professional certification programs (non-credit)as well as to campus programs (credit).
  • Develop and manage new programs that attract adult learners to CPE, especially in the area of community and lifelong learning programming.
  • Consistently assess contact list and portfolio of potential clients for marketing and sales services.
  • Ensure that all programs and activities generate revenue to assist with the funding demands of the division


Required Qualifications

Educational Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree

Required Experience
  • Two (2) or more years of experience working in higher education
  • Three (3) or more years of related work experience
  • Three (3) or more years of supervisory experience


Preferred Qualifications

Preferred Educational Qualifications
  • Master's Degree


Proposed Salary

$55,871 - $60,000

This is an exempt position paid on a monthly basis.
