Job Summary/Basic Functions

The Coordinator for Alternative Certification is responsible for managing the certification processes related to alternative routes to becoming a teacher and other education professionals. This position ensures the effective and efficient operations by admitting, processing, monitoring, and certifying candidates.

Minimum Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's degree required

Experience: Three years related experience required

Job Duties:

• 70% - Admission and monitoring of MAT, Option 6 (MAT), proficiency evaluations, and CA-HQ evaluations. - (Essential)
• 25% - Analyze student progress, process certification applications, and provide reporting for alternative certification graduates. - (Essential)
• 5% - All other duties as assigned. - (Essential)
