Job Summary/Basic Functions

The Associate Director of Residence Life for Leadership, Recruitment, and Training is a member of the Residence Life leadership team. This position is responsible will provide supervision, direction, and guidance to the residence life team. This position is specifically responsible for supervision of Residence Hall Coordinators and a Graduate Assistant.

This position is responsible for the recruitment, selection, onboarding, and training processes for residence life student staff members. This position is also responsible for developing a comprehensive training program for professional staff and will implement the performance evaluation process for the Residence Life team.

This position provides leadership, direction, and support to student leadership efforts, including, the National Residence Hall Honorary (NRHH). The position serves on the Administrator on Call rotation for students on campus.

Minimum Qualifications

Education: Master's degree required

Experience: 1 year of previous related experience is required.

Job Duties:

• 30% - Provides supervision, direction, guidance, and leadership for Residence Hall Coordinators and assigned residential areas - (Essential)
• 25% - Develops and implements annual and ongoing training and development for the Residence Life Team - (Essential)
• 25% - Develops and implements the student staff recruitment, selection, hiring, and onboarding processes for Residence Life student staff - (Essential)
• 10% - Develop and implement the performance evaluation process for the Residence Life team. - (Essential)
• 10% - Provide leadership, direction, and support to student leadership efforts, including, the National Residence Hall Honorary - (Essential)
