Post-doctoral Fellow in the HKU-Pasteur Research Pole



Applications are invited for appointment as Post-doctoral Fellow in the HKU-Pasteur Research Pole, School of Public Health (Ref no.: 522865), to commence as soon as possible for two-years, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability.

We are seeking an outstanding candidate to join our laboratory as a Post-doctoral Fellow. Our laboratory works on understanding how vaccine impacts the antibody and T cell responses. Applicants should possess i) a PhD in virology or immunology, ii) strong track record of academic research, iii) experience in serology, cellular immunology, virology, flow cytometry, and iv) good command of written and spoken English. Expertise in data analyses (i.e. R programming, FlowJo) and managing research projects would be highly desirable.

Applicant will be expected to i) conduct research, including laboratory experiments and data analyses, to deliver on project aims ii) prepare reports, presentations, and publications iii) mentor junior researchers and iv) perform other duties as assigned.
