Postdoctoral Fellow / Research Assistant I in the Department of Psychology (Ref.: 522841) (to commence in January 2024 or earlier for one year, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability).
Applicants should possess a PhD degree (for Postdoctoral Fellow), OR a Bachelor’s degree or above (for Research Assistant I) in psychology or a related discipline. Applicants should demonstrate knowledge and interest in the areas of clinical psychology, health psychology, or behavioural health; have prior experience in quantitative data analysis and knowledge of SPSS and R or a similar statistical package; have a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese; have good interpersonal skills and excellent organizational skills; and, be capable of managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines. Knowledge and interests in the psychology of habit, sleep and self-regulation, disordered eating behaviour, the intersection between mental health and physical health, and interventions and treatments are preferable. Applicants for the postdoctoral fellow post should have a demonstrated record of research productivity.
The appointee will be working with Dr. Wai Sze Chan.The appointee will be responsible for coordinating research activities, conducting data analysis, and preparing grant proposals and manuscripts. Opportunities for authorship and professional development are offered.
