Job Description

The School of Business is seeking applications for a Director of Stack Center for Innovation & Entrepreneurship. The Stack Center is very well positioned and offers several opportunities for the student community. It has the responsibility for all its programs within the School of Business but also has the responsibility as an interdisciplinary program that extends across the entire campus.

This position will engage students in experiential learning programs in the field of innovation and entrepreneurship, will create alumni and entrepreneur mentoring opportunities, and will utilize the current and modern methods and tools. 

Specific responsibilities will include teaching 6 credit hours per semester, engaging potential donors and advisory board members to help raise funds for the Center, manage programs and activities for the Stack Center, manage the Stack Center team, and lead and/or support creating innovative programs focused on entrepreneurship.

Annual Salary: $85,000- $95,000

The hiring salary above represent the College's good faith estimate at the time of posting in compliance with the Albany County Salary Transparency Law.

Job Requirements

Bachelor's degree required, Master's degree preferred in related field, ten or more years of experience related to the position. Knowledge of modern entrepreneurship methods and tools such as Business Model Canvas and Lean Startup methodologies.  Must have the ability to motivate and inspire youth. Experience starting or working in a startup or running a business.

A background screening will be required.
