At the Ira A. Fulton Schools of Engineering at Arizona State University (ASU), we are delivering a world-class learning experience for our students and advancing research and innovation — all at scale. We value and emphasize inherently interdisciplinary endeavors that leverage the breadth and depth of expertise among our outstanding faculty and have built a unique place for large-scale innovation characterized by foundational excellence and translational impacts. We are both a lead institution and partner on National Science Foundation engineering research centers, lead a Department of Homeland Security Center of Excellence, and are launching the Nation’s 7th Clean Energy Manufacturing Innovation Institute funded by the Department of Energy in fall 2023. Our faculty are also responsible for 295 patents and 35 startups in the last three years.

To support our goals in building engineers and inspiring innovation, we are recruiting faculty at all levels and across a wide range of disciplines. We count more than 500 faculty among our ranks, including over 390 tenured/tenure-track faculty members. The Fulton Schools of Engineering faculty are among the very best and are consistently recognized for their research and teaching engagements by multiple agencies, including earning 35 National Science Foundation CAREER Awards winners in the last four years.
