The Department of Mathematics at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia, invites applications for an open rank tenure-track or tenured faculty position in Computational Mathematics for AI.   

Applicants must have a Ph.D. in mathematics or a closely related field and demonstrate outstanding records or potential in research, teaching, and mentorship. Applicants must also have research and teaching interests that complement current and vibrant research strengths in Computational and Data-Enabled Science at Emory (CODES@Emory) and with Emory’s ambitious AI.Humanity initiative. Applicants who will strengthen Emory's NSF funded RTG and REU/RET sites on Computational Mathematics for Data Science are particularly encouraged to apply. Applications must include a cover letter, C.V., research and teaching statements, three letters of recommendation directly from recommenders, and a separate statement on the applicant’s experience and vision regarding teaching and mentoring students from diverse backgrounds and general diversity in the profession.
